HER FOOD BITES: Love Shack in SM Aura just opened last Thursday, July 25th, and is having their soft opening at the moment. They offer a wide range of food choices, from American burgers to Italian pasta and risotto. Their risotto was deliciously sticky paired with the oxtail, and even better topped off with their pesto sauce. When I asked the server what their recommended food was, she said that it was the Beef with Onions, which also has a solo meal with rice. The prime cut beef was served to us elevated on a stand and surrounded by cabbage (M got forced to eat them! Yey! ;D). The beef was like an upscale Bistek Tagalog with its caramelized onions and prime beef, very yummy indeed! We actually even heard the woman seated beside us say that their burger was really good and she sent her kudos to the chef. Honestly, their restaurant would have been better located at Serendra or Fort Strip for that matter. If you're asking why they are named as such, then better try the Love Shack! :)

HIS FOOD BITES: Love Shack recently had its soft opening about a week ago at SM Aura and we decided to give it ago. They are currently serving a different array of choices from burgers, pastas and a handful of main courses. The Ossobuco Risotto had very tender and flavorful ox tails that went extremely well with the light risotto. I was having hesitations, at first, to order the Beef with Onions but I am glad we actually tried it out since the meat used seems to be really well chosen and tasty. It had greens included with it and the combination played really well. I would also recommend the their Freshly Brewed Iced Tea, if you are also a fan of iced tea like myself. It was not overly sweet, a characteristic that I actually look for whenever I order iced teas. Overall, it was a great visit. Looking forward to see what Love Shack has to offer once it officially releases their menu.
About the venue: Located at the ground floor of SM Aura near the department store, it seems to be a bit out of place since there aren't any other restaurants near the area (It's right beside The SM Store and across GNC). The location had interesting and diverse interior accessories (Among them was a really unique "deer head" that piqued our attention and we just had to take a picture of it). The venue can sit more or less around 50 people. Pay parking is available at the SM Aura parking areas.
