HER FOOD BITES: M has been suggesting that we go to House of Minis for a while now and it was just recently that we had the time to try it out since we were already in the area. You would not think that there would be a great steak place at a shopping area, but lo and behold, House of Minis is. Their Tenderloin Steak was just mouthwatering, appetizingly cooked at medium rare. Its tenderness combined with its savory gravy was just delicious. What makes it even better is that it comes with soup, dinner rolls, coleslaw salad, and strawberry ice cream that tastes like Magnolia, not to mention that for delicious steak, it was reasonably priced. Simply trying to recall how it tastes makes me hungry already. Hahaha! See you again soon, House of Minis! :)

HIS FOOD BITES: When I was a kid, my parents used to bring us to the House of Minis Greenhills branch to have a nice and simple family dinner. House of Minis still holds a special place in my heart and I am really pleased that I was able to bring R there for lunch. For about 400php++, you could avail of their complete steak meals which includes their soup of the day, dinner rolls, salad, main course and dessert, which is quite a steal. I ordered their Fillet Mignon and the steak still had the same flavor that I really enjoyed 20 years ago. I just can't help but smile. The steak was prepared perfectly (medium rare, as always) and went well with the gravy, greens and steak sauce (make sure to ask the server for the steak sauce since they would not be on your table by default). Overall, House of Minis might not really be the best steak restaurant in town, but with their combination of affordability, taste and quality, I am sure that a decade or so into the future, I would be bringing my own kids to that quaint restaurant in Greenhills for us to share a nice and simple family dinner of our own.
About the venue: Wooden fixtures give the venue a classic, country look that would remind you of Baguio. Venue can accommodate around 30 people.
